Hi Larry, I was recently incarcerated for the first time (county jail) for a night& was let out on ROR. Due to some circumstances between my lawyer and I, my court case is adjourned till August. I’m afraid I’m going to be behind bars. I’m not sure how all this works. But having drug issues got me in that real low spot. I don’t have anymore chances after this to mess up again. I couldn’t take one night being in county jail cell, the sounds of the bars locking me in still haunts me. You are such a brave and strong man for what you went through. I hope everything goes well for you man.

Hey larry! I was watching an odder video on smoking in federal prison. Im not sure how else to contact u except thru here, i mean the comments. So hey, if you haven’t already, i have an interesting prison tidbit you may be genuinly interested in. Its state, but im interested to see what your gonna say Larry. So whats goin on, i forgot when, sometime this yr, or last? Here in illinois where i reside, there was an inmate an he was locked up for some kinda domestic crap. Now i guess the lady was denied a restraining order or oop several times, despite the situation being very well known/documented, i guess. Well for whatever reason, dude gets locked up, goes to stateville prison (coincidentally 3 min drive from my location) and the day he gets released, like 8 hours later or whatever, comes back and stabs the little boy, he unfortunatly doesnt. Make it. Mother went to the hospital. I THINK shes ok?? And uh, now the Illinois Prisoner Review Board (prb) is in some serious water for maybe being aware of the situation and not doing something about it or…i dont know. But i do know theres some major changes coming to the saftey of illinois, so i was wondering if youd do a video with your take on this whole mess, Larry? I worked as a C.O. In Oklahoma from 2006-08. I would eat at our chow hall lots of the time. Oklahoma prisons have a farm program and raised a lot of their own meat. With that being said it wasn’t very good. I would also eat with various inmates if they offered and I watched them prepare mine. Some of the stuff they cooked up with that commissary food was legitimately good.

There is no excuse for bad . After all if the prison are cooking the food , there must be a chef in prison the help the inmates cook the food. Even chef get sent to prison . Is this true?

I'm from Norway, I've always known the prison system is bad in the USA but compared to Norway (we are among the best in the world when it comes to human rights in prison) I've been listening to your videos for some time now, sure a lot are based on decades ago when you were in prison... but sad truth is a lot of the stuff you talk about is still a daily problem in the prison in the US. Considering how politics are going in the US, sad truth it most likely the type of change the prison system needs in the states will most likely never happen. Even if it does, what about the different states? Here in Norway if the government made decisions like these, it would be effective in every region of the country... but in the US? I'm not so sure. I agree on what you touched on: This is definietly a soft spot for the US. Keep up the good work, unless the american citizens step up and challenge the government there will be no change. Like you stated in one of your videos, it rarely matters what prisoners say, but outside of prison? Civilians? That's the way to go.

Life sentences should not be given out for crimes for financial gain armed robbery class b drugs etc only for crimes like rape,child stuff,selling fentanyl etc

Marijuana it is still a class 1 drug in the eyes of the federal gov’t. To keep things in perspective! And makes no sense as most states say or look at it as a class 1 controlled substance! Let’s not forget how it became illegal in the first place! Back when they made it an illegal substance most all products that are cotton now were made with hemp. And then Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin. But was having trouble of getting the people behind it as hemp was a far superior product to cotton. So he went on a campaign saying how bad hemp was and it made black men lazy and want to rape white women. And that was the end of the hemp trade. And it made cotton a very profitable product as there was no competition and it also prolonged slavery as they needed slaves to pick the cotton. So Eli Whitney never came around with his cotton Gin. Slavery would have ended much sooner and we all would have hemp made products which way better than cotton. And Marijuana would of never became illegal! All the for fathers that built this country and government they all smoked it at night in their pipes sitting on the back porch! There is a famous writing by Thomas Jefferson I believe who talks about sitting in his back porch and putting that sweet smelling grass in his pipe and letting the stress of the day leave his mind and having the feeling if floating in the air and relaxing. Saying his favorite night time ritual! So basically he was getting high as a giraffe’s ass on the back porch!

The tall girl really made me feel quite annoyed when I watched the video the day it came out. I’m sorry, but the way she talks is like she knows everything and keeps interrupting others quite too much, like she owns the place. That’s the way it feels. About the Indian-looking girl, dude… she is getting 10 grand for nothing and she still says she didn’t know it was illegal. Come on… As for Larry “I once robbed this store in Florida, great store!” He made my day. I don’t wanna judge people but at the end of the day we are all human and our mind works like it works.
